TheJetsetter (known as theAero Glider in British English, or aSpeeder inMario Kart Tour) is akart that appears in theMario Kart series, debuting inMario Kart Wii. It resembles a late 90'sLe Mans Prototype racecar (theFerrari 333 SP in particular) and the body has a similar design to theStreamliner, but has more of a rectangular shape as opposed to the Streamliner's wedge-shaped body. TheSprinter (its rough equivalent in middle-sized vehicles) is also very similar to the Jetsetter in shape, though the Sprinter is more clearly modeled on Formula 1 racecars. The Jetsetter features a three-pointed nose with the middle point shorter and thicker. It has blue wheels, a rear fin and a single dual exhaust port in the back. The emblem is located on the hood and sides of the kart.

Mario Kart Wii[edit]
The Jetsetter, or Aero Glider, is a largekart. The kart is unlocked by receiving a one star rank or better in all 150cc Retro Cups or by playing 4,500 races.
The Jetsetter is the fastest vehicle in the game. It also has good weight, but is actually the lightest large kart in the game; it is the only large kart in the game to be lighter than a large bike, this being theWario Bike. However, all of the Jetsetter's other stats are severely low; it is notable in that it has the worst handling, off-road, andMini-Turbo stats in the game, as well as the lowest stat total of all vehicles overall with 222 stat points. It also has the third worst drift among the karts, behind theSuper Blooper andOffroader. It has the third worst acceleration overall (tied with theWild Wing) and the second worst acceleration for any kart in the entire game, only being surpassed by theFlame Runner andFlame Flyer. This and the Flame Flyer are the only karts in the game with two or more stats that are less than twenty; the Flame Flyer's acceleration and off-road stats are less than twenty, while the Jetsetter's handling, off-road, and mini-turbo stats are less than twenty.
Additionally,Funky Kong's Jetsetter has the best speed stat in the game, but still has the lowest stat total out of any character-vehicle combination in the game, with 229 stat points (one stat point below the Spear's default stat total, which is 230 stat points). Unless someone with an off-road bonus drives the Jetsetter, it will be incapable of drifting on any type of off-road terrain.
TheSpear,Sprinter, andBlue Falcon share similar stat distributions with the Jetsetter. The Jetsetter is the only vehicle in the game to have a stat higher than 67 without stat bonuses (its speed is 69).

Mario Kart Tour[edit]
The Jetsetter appears inMario Kart Tour starting from theBattle Tour. Several color variations of it are released, all referred to by the game as Speeder variants, being the first kart that originally debuted in a priorMario Kart game to receive a brand new name inMario Kart Tour. They are all equipped with color variants of theSlick tires fromMario Kart 8 andMario Kart 8 Deluxe, and they are classified as High-End karts.
