Issa Rock is a character inMario & Luigi: Brothership. She has yellow skin and green eyes, and she wears a rock-like hat and orange apron. She can first be found onRumbla Island where she complains about only seeing rocks in the sea, then moves toShipshape Island afterGorumbla is defeated. Issa Rock keeps track of the number ofrare reefs Mario andLuigi find, and she rewards them withgear when they discover enough. She also builds statues based on the reefs on Shipshape Island and writes poetry about them. Her name is a phonetic reading of "is a rock."
