Iron Jailer,Donkey Kong Bananza

TheIron Jailer is aFractone made ofSlippery Iron inDonkey Kong Bananza. They are a guard that resides in theGroove Layer. According to post-game dialogue, they are the one who captured and imprisonedDonkey Kong after he landed in the layer.

When Donkey Kong wakes up, he can talk to the Iron Jailer, who asks if he has anything to say for himself. Donkey Kong can ask where he is or aboutPauline; regardless, the Iron Jailer will tell him that he is being held under suspicion of wrecking the Groove Layer's disco and that they blame Donkey Kong for it, telling him to think about what he has done and repeating this if spoken to again. Once Donkey Kong escapes by breaking through the floor, the Iron Jailer morphs into an exclamation point and announces his jailbreak.

After beating the game, the Iron Jailer can be talked to again. They ask if Donkey Kong remembers them and apologize for assuming he destroyed the disco; the Iron Jailer states that they have "softened" since Donkey Kong fixed the disco, which is literal as they have changed terrain from Slippery Iron to the softer Fractonium.
