- “I heardRaynforst Island has monsters that turn invisible! I want to go see for myself! Oh, except they’re invisible. Right.”
- —Connie,Mario & Luigi: Brothership
Invizilizards are chameleon-like enemies that appear inMario & Luigi: Brothership, residing onRaynforst Island along withParashoots. They have yellow eyes with nested circles as pupils, and their bodies are green. Their name is a portmanteau of "invisible" and "lizard". A stronger, gray-skinned version of them calledInvizilizard R can be found onAllsand Island.
In the field, Invizilizards generally prowl their territory slowly without anyone to disturb them, but will charge intruders in their territory in a camouflaged form if they find one.
The level for Invizilizards is 3 if the player visits Raynforst Island first, but level 4 if the player visits Twistee Island first.
In theside quest Arc's Secret, there is a group of Invizilizards that guard a spyglass thatArc lost. These Invizilizards are considered to be Level 8.
OnceReclusa is awakened after the second visit toFortress Zokket, Invizilizards will be replaced with theirGlohm-infected counterparts.
Battle[edit]
Invizilizards can attackMario orLuigi by charging at them. Their charge attack must be jumped, but while they are walking, they fade away, making it harder for the bro to dodge their attack. Failure to dodge their charge causes the Invizilizard to return back to their spot in camouflaged form. They can also attack with their tongue, which must be avoided by jumping.
