Howzit is a shopkeeper inSuper Paper Mario. He has shops in multiple areas throughout the game, includingFlipside,Yold Town,Downtown of Crag, and evenOuter Space (the Outer Space shop, known asTwinkle Mart, only sells candy bars and the player cannot store or pick things up, or earn shop points). However, inFlopside, his counterpartNotso runs the local shop and the Howzit in Downtown of Crag sports a caveman's outfit similar to the nativeCragnons. His name is a pun on the question "How's it?" and he frequently uses the word "gooood" as his catchphrase.

Notes[edit]

The German version states that Notso, rather than Howzit, runs Twinkle Mart in Outer Space. The English localization merely notes that the version of him in Twinkle Mart seems to have a different personality than normal. In the Japanese version, it is simply stated that Howzit runs Twinkle Mart.
The Howzit in Twinkle Mart is also the only version of him that cannot be directly tattled, due to the building blocking the cursor and thus being tattled instead.
