How to Draw Captain Toad is an activity on thePlay Nintendo website.[1] Published following the releases of theNintendo Switch andNintendo 3DS versions ofCaptain Toad: Treasure Tracker, it is a program that allows users to color in a line art drawing of eitherCaptain Toad orToadette. In the activity's summary, there used to be a link that led to a drawing lesson video made in the style of "The Mario Drawing Song."[2][3]
Overview[edit]
The user first has the option to color either Captain Toad or Toadette. Once the user makes their choice, they are taken to an artboard, where they can choose from nine different colors and three different brush sizes. The user can also choose to erase parts that they colored in, use the arrows to undo or redo an action, or click the "clear all" button to delete every color that they added. The user can turn off the outline, making the artboard a blank white canvas, and go into the full screen by clicking the button in the top right corner. Once the user is done coloring the picture, they can download it and save it to their device.

The activity corresponds to a sing-along drawing video of Captain Toad in the style of "The Mario Drawing Song," presented and performed over the theme "The Toad Brigade" by formerNintendo Minute hosts Kit Ellis and Krysta Yang.[3] The song's lyrics are as follows:
