TheHover Craft, also spelledhovercraft[1] orHovercraft,[2][3] is one of four vehicles thatFunky Kong leases toDixie Kong andKiddy Kong inDonkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! The Hover Craft appears to be made from a barrel, and it has a large, black floating tube on the bottom. The Hover Craft is an upgrade over theMotor Boat, being able to move on water faster and travel over rocks. The Hover Craft is not available to use at first because there is a hole in its tube that Funky can only fix with apatch, and the Hover Craft becomes available to use after giving the Patch to Funky. The Hover Craft is required to access the worldsCotton Top Cove andMekanos, theBrothers Bear locationBramble's Bungalow, and thesecret cave, "Kong Cave". The Hovercraft is used byBaron K. Roolenstein in a brief scene of the true ending, where he uses it to try to escape from theBanana Queen. In theGame Boy Advance version, the Hover Craft is used in the "Protect" mission of theFunky's Rentals minigame.
