Hotel manager,Super Mario Sunshine

Thehotel manager,[1][2] also called thehotel proprietor[3] or simply themanager,[4] is a white-mustached, pinkPianta who managesHotel Delfino, along with two small huts, onSirena Beach inSuper Mario Sunshine. Hotel Delfino comes under attack during theepisode "The Manta Storm" whenPhantamanta engulfs Sirena Beach inelectric goop, covering the hotel and plunging it underground. The manager orders his staff to begin cleaning up the mess, but he also convincesMario to aid him. Once Mario has cleared the beach and the hotel of the goop, the hotel reemerges and aShine Sprite pops out. Throughout the remaining episodes, the hotel manager encounters a number of other issues, ranging fromBoos haunting various parts of Hotel Delfino toShadow Mario terrorizing the guests and vandalizing the hotel; the hotel manager requests Mario's aid in solving each of these problems. The manager is not always forthcoming, sometimes requesting Mario's help in indirect or roundabout ways, but he is nonetheless always appreciative of Mario's assistance.

In the Versus Books guide, the hotel manager is seemingly erroneously referred to as theMayor,[5] a position held bya different character inPianta Village.[6][7]

In the Super Mario Mash-Up Pack inMinecraft, BlacksmithVillagers are reskinned to share the appearance of the hotel manager.
