Hot Bob-omb is a 4-Playerminigame inMario Party and a Battle minigame inMario Party 2 (where it is stylized asHot BOB-OMB).
Overview[edit]
The gameplay of Hot Bob-omb is based onhot potato, since the minigame involves players tossing aBob-omb around. If a player is holding the Bob-omb when it explodes (after about 30 seconds inMario Party or 15 seconds inMario Party 2), they are eliminated. If a player does not catch a Bob-omb on time inMario Party 2, they slow down temporarily, but the Bob-omb does not necessarily explode on them. InMario Party, Hot Bob-omb ends when one player is eliminated, and they have to give fiveCoins to each other player, though theMario Party 2 version continues until only one player is left.
Hot Bob-omb can be purchased from theMini-Game House inMario Party for 300 Coins when it becomes becomes available, or fromWoody inMario Party 2 for 700 Coins.
