Hoo is the second boss ofSuper Princess Peach, residing inHoo's Wood. It is an owl with pale and green feathers and black eyes with white pupils; when using the Joy vibe, its plumage turns yellow. Hoo's name is derived from the sound made by owls.
Battle[edit]
Hoo is the boss ofHoo's Wood 2-6. After Peach witnesses a trapped Toad in a bubble, Hoo claws the bubble and swoops away.
At the start of battle. Hoo attacks by throwingeggs atPrincess Peach, whichhatch into baby owls. Peach can whack them with Perry. It then swoops down at Peach, who can jump on its head.
After Hoo loses three lives, it uses theJoyVibe and lays a bunch of eggs on the platform, breaking it. Peach will not take damage if she touches these eggs. After the platform breaks, Peach will fall with Hoo flying after her for the whole battle. During this phase, Hoo will release eggs that Peach can destroy just as in the first phase; she can gain energy for theVibe Scepter this way. Hoo must be hit on the head twice; Peach must use her Joy Vibe to hover over it. However, Hoo shields itself while she uses the vibe, requiring her to deactivate it while floating above it. After being defeated, Hoo summons a whirlwind and disappears; Peach touches the ground.

Notes[edit]
- Hoo has quite a few similarities toSkowl fromDonkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. They are both the second boss of their respective games, both are owls, both release eggs that spawn smaller owl-like enemies, both are fought atop a tree, and both fly for the majority of the battle.
