Honey walls, also referred to ashoneycomb walls,[1][2] are objects introduced inSuper Mario Galaxy and itsNintendo Switchport. They are special hexagonal walls made ofhoney that onlyBee Mario can climb on. They have their own gravity, asMario canfly with his feet facing the walls and evenground-pound onto the walls.
InSuper Mario Galaxy, honey walls are featured prominently in four differentgalaxies: theHoneyhive Galaxy,Honeyclimb Galaxy,Gold Leaf Galaxy, andSand Spiral Galaxy; however, only one lone honey wall panel appears in the Sand Spiral Galaxy. When Bee Mario climbs on these vertical walls, he sticks to the honey on it. Bee Mario must fly to reach different parts of the walls. The Honeyclimb Galaxy is made up entirely of honey walls on what looks like a flat hive. Some honey walls can contain moving groups of honey,Mandibugs, and evenmeteors falling past them.
Honeycomb walls reappear inSuper Mario Galaxy 2, but only inHoneyhop Galaxy.
