PurposeGives a Hex to all players who pass it.

AHex Area is an area inMario Party DS. Like? Candies andOrb Spaces, Hex Areas have aHex floating above them. When a player walks along a Hex Area, they get a random Hex, then continue. The Hex Areas are not actual spaces and thus players cannot land on them.
