In theNintendo Switchremake ofSuper Mario RPG, the original version of "Hello, Happy Kingdom" plays for the same purpose as in the original game if the music is set to the "Classic" setting. If the music is set to the "Modern" setting, a new orchestral arrangement of the theme will play instead. This version of the theme was once again arranged byYoko Shimomura. It is also included in the official albumsSuper Mario RPG Original Soundtrack,Super Mario RPG Original Sound Box, andSuper Mario RPG Original Sound Vinyl Box.

Exclusively in the vinyl release ofThe Super Mario Bros. Movie (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), a brief arrangement of "Hello, Happy Kingdom" is incorporated in the track "Bonus Level". This arrangement is not present in other releases of the soundtrack, and inThe Super Mario Bros. Movie itself, "Mr. Blue Sky" is played during the scene instead.
The "Hello, Happy Kingdom" arrangement from "Bonus Level" was also used in anNBC commercial forThe Super Mario Galaxy Movie and the opening ceremony of the2026 Winter Olympics.[3]

- As noted by Yoko Shimomura in her liner notes for theSuper Mario RPG Original Sound Box, the version of "Hello, Happy Kingdom" in the Nintendo Switch version ofSuper Mario RPG features a live-recorded metronome. According to the notes for "Let Me Explain!", this metronome belongs toMahito Yokota.
- InSuper Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3, the theme that plays in thee-Coin Castle bears a strong resemblance to "Hello, Happy Kingdom".
