Heavy Zeds,[1] also referred to as simplyOwls,[2] are allies inSuper Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. They are large owls usually found sleeping. The second word of their name, "zed," refers to the British English pronunciation of "Z," commonly used as an onomatopoeia for snoring, while the first word supposedly refers to "heavy sleeper."
