TheHand Mirror is an item in thePC andSNES releases ofMario's Time Machine. It belongs toCleopatra, and is used by her servants as they take care of her.Mario receives one of them after he travels back in time toAlexandria in the year 47 BC. While he is talking to a handmaiden of Cleopatra's, she says that Cleopatra owns hundreds of hand mirrors and freely gives one out to Mario. The Hand Mirror can then be given toJulius Caesar, who had been previously worrying about the potential bald spot on his head and refused to speak to Mario until he was able to make himself irresistible to Cleopatra. Once he receives it, he uses it to check that he does not actually have a bald spot, and thanks Mario by letting him ask more questions about him.
