Green Spaces later appear in the main party mode inMario Party 9,Mario Party: Island Tour, andMario Party 10, having the same effects as inMario Party 5. InMario Party 9 andMario Party 10, the current captain's turn ends and the next player begins their turn. Also, inMario Party 10, the Green Space, like theSpecial Dice Block Space, can sometimes trigger aminigame. InBowser's Peculiar Peak inMario Party: Island Tour, landing on a Green Space will make the player do their losing animation.
The space appears inSuper Mario Party,Mario Party Superstars, andSuper Mario Party Jamboree as theStart Space.
