Green Rings[1] are objects inNew Super Mario Bros. U,New Super Luigi U, andNew Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe. When the playerjumps through one,Green Coins appear rotating in five groups of three, with one group appearing at a time and the next appearing after all coins in the previous group have been collected. The coins disappear in three seconds if the player does not collect them. If the player does, the countdown resets in the next group. Green Rings serve the same purpose asRed Rings, which generateRed Coins. When all the Green Coins have been collected, the player receives apower-up or a1-Up Mushroom.
Green Rings appear inMario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, in which they have the same function, although the rewards are aPlanet Coin and atreasure chest containing coins. There is one on all planets.
