Gorilla Glacier is alocation inDonkey Kong Country. It is the fourthworld and an arctic wasteland on the peak ofDonkey Kong Island. There are several ice caves and deep ravines withslippery floors, as well as a treetop village. The snow levels have a 3-D effect of snow and dynamic backgrounds.
Gorilla Glacier appears to be the mountainous counterpart to theVolcano world fromDonkey Kong Country Returns. When asked if they were the same region, senior designer Kynan Pearson approved of the idea.[1] However, theCliff area uses arranged versions of Gorilla Glacier's music.
