Goomba's Booty Boardwalk is aboard inMario Party 8. It is set on a peninsula and a few islands with manyPiantas. Similar toPagoda Peak fromMario Party 7, the board is linear.

Landing onGreen Spaces with yellow Piantas next to the player will make the Pianta kindly toss them to a farther space. Landing on the Green Space next to fishing blue Piantas causes their rod to catch a piece of Candy. They will give it to the player every time, for they want fish, not candy (but they'll keep it if the player's inventory is full). The Green Space next to the shipwreck makes the player go inside and get 5, 10, or 20 coins out of it from a chest. Landing on the Green Space next to Captain Goomba's ship makes the Goomba Pirates stuff the player into their cannon and blast them back to the start.

If players land at aDK Space,Donkey Kong will appear. He makes the player deposit 5 coins in aDK Barrel, then lets them shake the barrel using the Wii Remote. The better they do, the more coins they get back; players can get back 11 to 25 coins. If the player has no coins for Donkey Kong to play with, Donkey Kong gives them 10 coins. When players stop at aBowser Space,Bowser will appear and summon threeLava Bubbles to attack them three times with them losing 10 coins each time (30 coins). Players will have to use the remote again to jump the Lava Bubbles when they attack. If the player has no coins, then Bowser gives the player 10 coins instead.

In Battle Royale and Tag Battle, the objective is to reachCaptain Goomba, who gives them aStar for free, then send the player back to start viaseagulls. Despite being the longest board in the game, there are many shortcuts. Players can payDolphins to ride on their backs (in a manner similar toKoopa's Seaside Soiree inMario Party 4) to travel a predetermined number of spaces closer to Captain Goomba. The price to ride the Dolphins is determined by the player's position (for example, a player in first place will have to pay 20 coins to move ahead 20 spaces, whereas a player in last place will only have to pay 5 coins to move the same distance). When a player lands on theLucky Space, a dolphin will carry them to a secret island, supposedly sacred toGoombas, free of charge. Once there, the player will find twoGoomba idols, who will give them a free star in a chest before banishing them. The player will then ride a platform carried by seagulls back to the Lucky Space.

In Duel Battle andStar Battle Arena, there are several changes to the board, similar to Pagoda Peak on Solo Cruise. Goomba's Booty Boardwalk has been shrunk, candy can only be obtained through the? Candy, and players can only ride Dolphins if they land on one of the Green Spaces, although they don't have to pay to ride them. The winning condition is to get one Star. Captain Goomba now requires 50 coins for the Star; if a player reaches him with less than 50, he lets them roll acoin block, then his Goomba Pirates will shoot them back to the start.
