TheGold Star Pipe is aspecial building inSuper Mario Run. Unlike otherWarp Pipes, the Gold Star Pipe glows, sends out sparking particles, has an opening shaped like a star, has a star on the front, and has a white base. Like other Warp Pipes, the Gold Star Pipe takes up a 1 x 1 space. It matches the height of the "Pipe A" buildings. After being placed, the Gold Star Pipe can be tapped on to open a prompt to access the Special CourseRed Block Run.Toads are never seen standing next to or interacting with this pipe.
To unlock this building in the Shop, the player has to collect every★Black Coin in every course inWorld ★. Due to cascading requirements to unlock the ★Black Coins, this also requires collecting all of the★Pink Coins and★Purple Coins from the same courses. The Gold Star Pipe can then be purchased for 0coins. As a limited item, only one copy of the Gold Star Pipe can be obtained. As a special building, the Gold Star Pipe has no rank.
