Glohm Capnaps are enemies inMario & Luigi: Brothership. They areCapnaps that have been infected withGlohm, and appear at theGreat Lighthouse Island of theLushgreen Sea when people inConcordia start getting infected with Glohm. Design-wise, Glohm Capnaps appear just like their regular selves, but their eyes glow red and a shadowy particle effect emanates from them. Stronger, blue versions calledGlohm Capnap Rs can be found later in the game as a result ofCapnap Rs contractingGlohm whenReclusa hijacks Concordia after awakening.
Battle[edit]
In battle, Glohm Capnaps fight the same way as their regular counterparts. However, their stats are higher, they attack faster and their attacks have the ability to inflict the Glohm status on a bro if not dodged.
Once defeated, they also explode into a shockwave of Glohm that the bros have to jump over to avoid damage. This does not occur if the Glohm Capnap is dizzy or frozen when it is defeated.
