GiantVegetables,[1] orHuge Vegetables,[2] are a much larger variant of regularTurnip introduced inBS Super Mario USA. Due to their size, they take longer to pluck and can hit more enemies.

InBS Super Mario USA, Giant Vegetables are thrown in threes by an angryPeach; these can also hit the player. The villains can also do this, though their veggies are black with angry faces on them.

InSuper Mario Advance, Giant Vegetables sometimes replace what were originally regular Turnips in the originalSuper Mario Bros. 2.
Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3[edit]
Giant Vegetables return inSuper Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3, inWorld-e levels such asVegetable Volley. They can also be found in the main gamelevels upon the player scanning theBlue Green Switch; they typically appear inGiant Land.
Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story /Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey[edit]
InMario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story andits remake, during theWiggler boss battle, twoLeaf Guys can appear on the upper screen, carrying a Giant Vegetable to toss againstBowser. If hevacuums them before they can, the Giant Vegetable will land on the Wiggler, completely turning him calm.
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker[edit]
Giant Vegetables reappear inCaptain Toad: Treasure Tracker andits ports as part of the battles againstWingo, who summons them to hitCaptain Toad, but they can be plucked and thrown back at Wingo to defeat him.
Donkey Kong Bananza[edit]
Giant turnips appear inDonkey Kong Bananza and are able to be pulled out of the ground with effort byDonkey Kong, releasinggold. They also make a hole in the ground if pulled out.
