Giant Lumas[1] are a type ofLuma that appears inSuper Mario Galaxy 2. Only two Giant Lumas appear in the entire game, both inSupermassive Galaxy: One is found on thestarting planet, and the other is found on thegiant Star Chips planet. While normal-sized Lumas appear in a diversity of colors, both Giant Lumas are yellow. They speak at a lower octave and do not twirl whenspun against, instead swaying back and forth. They also cannot bejumped on, unlike most other non-playable characters. Giant Lumas turn to faceMario (orLuigi) when he walks past, like their smaller counterparts and most other non-playable characters, and their dialogue lines are displayed in large lettering.
