Ghost Riders[1] are ghost-like creatures thatYoshis can ride inYoshi's Story. Ghost Riders appear only in theGhost Castle. They appear in the room with the thirdMiss Warp in saidlevel. They act as platforms that the Yoshis can step on. They are found alongside someBlock Boos, allowing the Yoshis to climb the room and crossspikes and other obstacles. They are found in great numbers and roam the area from left to right or from right to left, going through walls and obstacles. Ghost Riders are similar in appearance to theGusty of theprevious game.

[2] (It's okay to touch it. You don't have to worry about riding it.) The great thing about them is that you can jump on them without getting slime stuck to your shoes, because that would be uncool. Who likes to be stuck? The Ghost Riders mostly stay in the ghost levels. Unlike the Boos, they are friendly and often serve as our transportation.)
