Gelato Pique is a brand of Japanese-designed loungewear, sleepwear, and accessories. The company has partnered withNintendo on occasion to release products inspired by theAnimal Crossing andSuper Mario franchises.

Gelato Pique was one of the brands that soldSuper Mario merchandise as part of a 2021 summer campaign launched by Japanese department store chainParco in collaboration with Nintendo.[1]

Super Mario meets Gelato Pique[edit]
TheSuper Mario meets Gelato Pique collection was launched in 2021. In Japan, pre-orders for the products in this collection began on September 13, 2021 while regular orders became available on September 17, 2021.[3] In the United States, regular orders for products in this collection began on October 22, 2021 at 12:00 (EST).[4]

In 2022, Gelato Pique updated theSuper Mario meets Gelato Pique lineup with an assortment ofYoshi-themed products, titled theColorful Yoshi Collection. It was launched on April 25, 2022, in Japan;[10] in the United States, pre-orders for products in this collection began on May 21, 2022, while regular orders and shipments became available at the beginning of June 2022.[11]

Super Mario meets Gelato Pique (third wave)[edit]
A third wave of products in theSuper Mario meets Gelato Pique series was released in Japan on November 10, 2022[14] and in the United States on November 18, 2022.[15] On this occasion, a number of products from previous waves, including theColorful Yoshi Collection Jacquard Blanket, the Character Cushions, and the Room Shoes (now labelled simply "Slippers"),[16] were brought back in stock. The following table lists only the products introduced in the third wave.
