TheGear Shop is one of three equipment stores located inToad Town shopping mall inMario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story and itsremake. Of the three shops, it sells the cheapest and least valuable equipment. The Gear Shop's logo is aMushroom which is also the defaultrank for the Mario Bros. The Mario Bros. may shop here at any rank making it the earliest equipment shop available in the game.

The Gear here is good and affordably priced, but it's only a taste of what's in stock at the other Gear shops. Invest in some good Gear here, but then head back into the field[sic] battle up to a higher rank!"
