AFuel Drum[1] (orfuel drum),[2] also known as aFuel Canister[3] (orfuel canister)[4] andFuel Barrel,[1] are objects in theDonkey Kong Country series. They were introduced inDonkey Kong Country. Thesebarrels refill the fuel supply of a specific vehicle, varying by game.

Donkey Kong Country[edit]
Fuel Canisters are objects inDonkey Kong Country. They appear only inTanked Up Trouble. Fuel Canisters refill a number of gauges on aplatform used byDonkey Kong andDiddy Kong, that number matching the number of red dots on the Fuel Drum. Collecting nearly every Fuel Canister is required because the platform runs out of energy quickly. Fuel Canisters can depict either one, three, or five red dots. There are Fuel Canisters with two dots and four dots existing in the game's graphic data,[5] but they gounused.
Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble![edit]
Fuel Drums are objects inDonkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!. They appear only inRocket Rush, where they are usable for therocket. Fuel Drums are depicted with a blue paint. They do not appear as commonly as inDonkey Kong Country.
