Fritz[1] areenemies inDonkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and its Nintendo Switchport. They are encountered in thelevels ofSea Breeze Cove, beginning withDeep Keep. Fritzes resemblemoray eels and are generally found in spacious areas. Fritz regularly teleport themselves between places through self-generated whirlpools. Before teleporting, they grab their tail into their mouths and start swirling rapidly, producing a load of electricity. The electricity is then discharged in the form of plasma balls, which are spread radially around the enemy and disappear after reaching a certain distance. If the Kongs come into contact with a Fritz or its plasma balls, they lose one heart from their health meter. TheKongs can defeat a Fritz with aCorkscrew attack (while it is not charged with electricity) or withCranky Kong's cane swipe.
