"Forest Frenzy"'s first appearance is in the originalDonkey Kong Country in the forest levelsVulture Culture andForest Frenzy.

Unlike other level themes in the game, "Forest Frenzy" is not present in theGame Boy Colorremake ofDonkey Kong Country, being replaced with a completely new theme.

In theGame Boy Advanceremake ofDonkey Kong Country, an arrangement of "Forest Frenzy" plays in the same levels as the original game.

The albumSuper Donkey Kong Game Music CD Jungle Fantasy features a unique arrangement of "Forest Frenzy", titled "FOREST LEVEL" and composed by Yoshiyuki Ito.

Donkey Kong Country Returns, itsNintendo 3DSport,Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, and itsNintendo Switch port,Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, feature two arrangements of "Forest Frenzy".

A faithful arrangement of "Forest Frenzy", titled "Forest Frenzy Returns" in the music gallery, plays in the levelsVine Valley,Tippin' Totems, andWigglevine Wonders.

A much more intense, fast-paced arrangement of "Forest Frenzy" plays in the levelMuncher Marathon when theKongs are being chased by theMunchers.
