TheFlupperius Petallus Pongus, or simply theFlower,[1] is akey item inDonkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!. This red flower is required to complete a trade to earn aBanana Bird.Bramble is seeking a Flupperius Petallus Pongus that he can study, but none are able to grow due to the pollution caused by the nearby factories onMekanos. When theKongs revisit Bramble after defeatingKAOS in Mekanos, Bramble reports that the plant life can continue growing, although the Flupperius Petallus Pongus is yet to bloom. Once the Kongs give theshell to theBarnacle inLake Orangatanga and completeRazor Ridge, the flower blooms at a dead-end path right next toBramble's Bungalow.

In theremake, the Flupperius Petallus Pongus is given to the Kongs byBachelor on their first visit, and Dixie and Kiddy can then go to Bramble's Bungalow and trade the flower for arose.
