Flophoppers[1] areenemies inSuper Mario 3D Land. These bug-like creatures are similar toSwaphoppers, but they do not attack by using gravity tactics. Instead, they move around in a set area by flipping themselves around, similarly to aBramball. Flophoppers cannot bejumped on while their spiked helmets are exposed, soMario (orLuigi) must wait until they flip and their undersides are exposed, a vulnerability shared with Swaphoppers. They can also be defeated byFire Mario,Boomerang Mario, orTanooki Mario.
