First Course, also known asCourse 1[1], is the first level of theCoin Challenge Pack C inNew Super Mario Bros. 2. It is the nineteenth DLC level in the game.
Layout[edit]
The level begins with a? Block containing aFire Flower, along with aPipe Cannon leading to a room with aSuper Star and somespikes, with threeBrick Blocks containingGold Mushrooms. The next room features aSuper Leaf and a few more Brick Blocks containing Gold Mushrooms. The next room features aMega Mushroom along with manyHidden Coins andHard Blocks. The following room contains aMini Mushroom along with some places to wall jump off of to find some+ Clocks and more Gold Mushrooms. AGold Flower follows, along with some jumps over some spikes which leads directly to theGoal Pole.
Star Coins[edit]

 | In Mega Mario's area, Mario must use the Mega Mushroom to go all the way to the right hand side. The Star Coin is located inside a square of blocks only Mega Mario can break. |
 | In Gold Mario's area, Mario must perform a triple jump through the spikes, following the lines of coins. The Star Coin is located high up and can be collected midway through the third jump. |
