Fire Shooters[1][2] are enemies introduced inSuper Mario Galaxy. They are similar toWater Shooters, but as their name suggests, they shoot fire instead of water. They resemble the nozzle part ofFLUDD fromSuper Mario Sunshine, except in red.
History[edit]
Super Mario Galaxy[edit]
Fire Shooters first appear inSuper Mario Galaxy and itsNintendo Switchport. They are completely stationary and invincible, and their nozzles spew a stream of flames atMario orLuigi. There is one unique Fire Shooter inToy Time Galaxy, which is larger and shootsfireballs in a straight line instead of spewing fire. It appears within Mecha-Bowser's mouth in the galaxy'sfirst mission, serving as its "fire breath".
Flame-spewing Fire Shooters appear in the following list of galaxies and missions. If no mission is stated, they appear during all missions:
- Bowser's Star Reactor
- Toy Time Galaxy ("Bouncing Down Cake Lane")
- Deep Dark Galaxy ("Bubble Blastoff")
- Bubble Blast Galaxy
Super Mario Galaxy 2[edit]
Fire Shooters return inSuper Mario Galaxy 2 and its Nintendo Switchport, only appearing inBowser's Galaxy Generator. They now have the behavior of Mecha-Bowser's fireball-shooting Fire Shooter, while being the size of the usual flame-spewing variant.
