Fire Ride Fortress isMini Bowser's world and the ninth world overall inMini Mario & Friends: amiibo Challenge. The main features of this world areFire Blocks that produce harmful streams of fire. They can be turned on and off by tapping them with the stylus. Some Fire Blocks also push platforms upward, helping the character reach higher areas. Mini Bowser's special ability in this world is theBowser Bomb, a move similar to theGround Pound that he performs when coming to a ledge that can be used to destroyrocks and defeat enemies. One main level also takes place before this world,Level 10.

The background of this world is based on the appearance ofPeach's Castle during the final world inNew Super Mario Bros. U while the background music featured is a cover ofBowser'sbattle theme fromSuper Mario 64.
