Fire Mountain Plus is the third plus world inMario vs. Donkey Kong and itsremake, being the counterpart to the previousFire Mountain world. The backgrounds of the levels there are a different color (or completely different design in the remake) than in the original world it is based on. Like with its regular world counterpart, Fire Mountain Plus also features the same music replacements in the remake.

Bonus level[edit]
Exclusively in theNintendo Switch version ofMario vs. Donkey Kong is a bonus level that can be played after completing enough levels. This bonus level features severalCrumble Blocks that the player needs to destroy to reach some of the1-Up Mushrooms located in the lower portions of the level. Like other bonus levels, the player needs to catch theflying key and bring it to the chest at the bottom of the level for more extra lives.
