Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic /Super Mario Bros. 2[edit]
Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic marks the first appearance of "Final Boss BGM". When that game was later redeveloped asSuper Mario Bros. 2, the theme was given slightly more enhanced instrumentation, which is the version that subsequent appearances of the theme in theSuper Mario franchise are based on. TheSuper Mario Bros. 2 version is also included in the official albumsFAMICOM 20TH ANNIVERSARY GAMEMUSIC DVD,Game Sound Museum: Mario Bros. / Super Mario USA, andFamicom Sound History Series: Mario the Music.
Super Mario All-Stars[edit]
In theSNESremake ofSuper Mario Bros. 2 inSuper Mario All-Stars, an arrangement of "Final Boss BGM" plays for the same purpose as in the original game. This arrangement is reused for the same purpose inSuper Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World andSuper Mario All-Stars Limited Edition.

Super Mario Advance[edit]
In theGame Boy Advance remake ofSuper Mario Bros. 2,Super Mario Advance, an arrangement of "Final Boss BGM" plays for the same purpose as in the original game. This arrangement plays in a slightly higher pitch, aside from the drums and percussion.

Super Mario Maker 2[edit]
