Fawfulcopters are UFO-like enemies that appear inMario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. They resembleFawful and have a top section with Fawful eyes and a saucer bottom.
Fawful communicates withBowser via Fawfulcopter at various points in the game, via a mouth that comes out of the bottom on a rod. As such, Fawfulcopters often appear during cutscenes when Bowser is being controlled. They also appear inPeach's Castle, and hold keys which open certain doors in the castle. Bowser must chase them to get their keys, and once caught they will flee and hand over their key.
Fawfulcopters also appear in battle inBowser Path alongsideChain Chawfuls, where they float on the top screen; their position protects them from most weapons. Bowser caninhale them, andMario andLuigi can fight them. In lieu of an attack, they flash a red light, which summons more Chain Chawfuls; if it is inhaled, while the Fawfulcopter does try using its alarm if not yet destroyed, the alarm does not summon anything within Bowser's body. The Fawfulcopter does not have any attacks but it can escapeBowser's body if Mario and Luigi do not destroy it in two turns. If a Fawfulcopter appears while Mario and Luigi are battling a Chain Chawful, they will not be able to attack it and therefore must defeat the Chain Chawful quickly before the Fawfulcopter summons another one.
Fawfulcopters reappear inMario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey, also appearing as extremely common enemies in theBowser Jr.'s Journey mode. They take critical damage againstSwoops,Broozers, and redPara-Biddybuds. TheirSpecial Skill is Discord, which can lower the POW of anyone who takes damage from the attack.

"Fawfulcopter" is a pun on Fawful's name with the word "helicopter"; it may also be a play on the Internet slang term "roflcopter".
