Famicom Manga: Super Mario-kun is a one-shot manga written and illustrated byYukio Sawada. It was published in the kindergarten-aimed magazineGakushū Yōchien (学習幼稚園) byShogakukan in September 1986 as part of theFamicom Manga series.
The manga is a brief guide toSuper Mario Bros. withMario presenting the plot and then diving into the game to illustrate the game mechanics.
Later on, Sawada would reuse theSuper Mario-kun title for other series.
