An Egg Medal

Egg Medals (Medals in the PAL version) are items found inYoshi's New Island. They can be received if the roulette on theGoal Ring stops on aSmiley Flower. The number of Egg Medals aYoshi gets depends on the number of flowers he collected when playing thelevel. Five is the maximum number of Egg Medals for a single level run, but the player can replay the level to get the level maximum of 30. 10 Egg Medals give the player a1-UP, 20 Egg Medals give the player three 1-UPs, and 30 Egg Medals give the player a vehicle challenge, an extra level based on a transformation that a Yoshi can complete to get extra lives.
