TheDrawing of Air Screw is an item in thePC andSNES releases ofMario's Time Machine. It is a picture drawn byLeonardo da Vinci of what would now be called a helicopter, conceptualizing something beyond what was possible at the time. The drawing is given toMario by one of Verrocchio's apprentices after he reads Leonardo'sNotebook usingMona's Mirror. As the apprentice is unable to remember who created the Notebook's artwork, he gives the drawing to Mario so that Mario can find another example of the artist's work. Mario brings the drawing to an old man who was interested in seeing more work from Leonardo, who immediately recognizes the drawing as having been created by him. The old man gives Mario theDrawing of Ideal Man in exchange and keeps the Drawing of Air Screw for himself.
