Super Mario Advance series[edit]

InSuper Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2, a compressed version of "Dragon Coin" is used for the same purpose as inSuper Mario World.

This version returns inSuper Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3, where it plays when anAdvance Coin is collected.

InNew Super Mario Bros., an arrangement of "Dragon Coin" plays when a Star Coin is collected. It is known internally as "SE_OBJ_GET_DRAGON_COIN".[2]

A remix of this arrangement is used inNew Super Mario Bros. Wii and onwards.
