Diggas[1] areenemies inSuper Mario Galaxy 2 and itsNintendo Switchport, resembling yellowBullet Bills with a drill in front of each of them. Diggas appear exclusively inSpin-Dig Galaxy.
Diggas drill with their bodies exposed and move in set circular paths along the surface, ignoringMario (orLuigi). On one rectangular planet, Diggas briefly stop moving along the surface to dig through a wall and come out the other side. They are also launched from the underside of the bossDigga-Leg, like how its predecessor,Megaleg, launches Bullet Bills out of its body. These Diggas burrow all the way through the planet before beginning their typical circular motion. They can be easily destroyed by any type ofjump, or with aSpin Drill.
In a pre-release screenshot, Diggas' eyes were farther apart and designed much differently from the final, furthering the resemblance to Bullet Bills.

Naming[edit]
"Digga" is a phonetic respelling of "digger", matching its pronounciation innon-rhotic English dialects.
