Variant ofCannon

Diagonal cannons[1] are obstacles inSuper Mario Bros. 3. These double-barreledcannons firecannonballs out of either end and are mounted on background elements such assemisolid metal bays. Diagonal cannons are not to be confused with grounded regular cannons, which can also be found facing diagonally. Despite having two sides, diagonal cannons are capable of firing out of only one end. Diagonal cannons appear inWorld 2-Airship,World 3-Airship, andWorld 5-Airship. InSuper Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3'sWorld-e, they also appear inArmored Airship,Bowser's Airship 1, andBowser's Airship 2.
