Delivery Toad is a character inMario & Luigi: Paper Jam. He is found in the foyer ofPeach's Castle, where he is employed as a courier.

History[edit]

ThisToad is first found in the foyer ofPeach's Castle shortly after thePaper Toads in the area are rescued, bragging about how lugging his sack around has made him physically stronger. When he notices that he is short oneMushroom,Mario decides to give him a Mushroom of his own. Delivery Toad thanks him by giving him a1-Up Mushroom in return.

Shortly after completingPaper Toad Rescue in theSunbeam Plains, Delivery Toad meets with the full trio of Mario,Luigi, andPaper Mario. He gives Mario a letter from one of the Paper Toads at Peach's Castle thanking the trio, as well as their gift of theTrio Attack Hammer. Delivery Toad leaves afterward, noting they will see him again the next time they get a delivery.

After rescuing all the Paper Toads via theLakitu Info Center in the Sunbeam Plains village, Delivery Toad then becomes the basis of the missionMushroom Foraging, where the team must pick up all of the Mushrooms he drops three times.

Delivery Toad later visits the Lakitu Info Center location inDoop Doop Dunes after the requisite Paper Toads in the area are rescued to give Mario and co thepaper trampoline, as well asTrio Kite. He then visits the Lakitu Info Center location inMount Brrr after the requisite Paper Toads in the area are rescued to give Mario and co theTrio Whirligig.

As Mario, Luigi, Paper Mario,Peach, andPaper Peach glide down fromBowser's Castle, Delivery Toad is briefly seen pausing his delivery to watch them.

After Mario and co rescue the requisite number of Paper Toads needed to build the staircase toNeo Bowser Castle, Delivery Toad reappears to relay a message from Toadette.

Delivery Toad reappears during theparade in the credits, as the papercrafts pass throughTwinsy Tropics.
