TheDarkmess Dimension is an alternate dimension inMario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope. It is where all battles take place. The Darkmess Dimension features alternate landscapes, such as theLighthouse being surrounded bylava instead ofwater, and the train tracks for theWiggler Train going into endless spirals.

Darkmess Tentacles,Darkmess Puddles andDarkmess Taproots lead to the Darkmess Dimension, as well as encounters with enemies while exploring the planets, andDarkmess portals in the story plot. Even landing on top of a Darkmess Puddle on the back of theDarkmess Manta leads to the Darkmess Dimension.

AtCursa's stronghold, theComet Observatory'sbeacon serves as the entrance to the core of the Darkmess Dimension itself, whereCursa resides.
