TheDark Puff is a cloud enemy related to theRuff Puff inPaper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and itsNintendo Switch remake. It is shaded gray like most enemies inBoggly Woods, and is often seen alongsideClefts andPale Piranhas. In theGlitz Pit, a Dark Puff appears as one of the members ofThe Mind-Bogglers.

Though they are statistically rather weak, they can use a Lightning Charge attack, but it requires charging. A charged-up Dark Puff will hurtMario if he jumps on it; if Mario has electrified himself, he can jump on said Dark Puff without taking damage.
