DK Engine is a machine part used in theSuper Duel Mode inMario Party 5. It is unlocked for purchase after defeatingDonkey Kong in the Hard Competition mode. Unlike every other engine, its Speed, Acceleration and Handling stats are randomized every battle. The DK Engine resembles a mechanical device carrying a banana spewing fire from its tip. As all other engines, it is not visible in a machine's finished form. It forms a set alongside theDK Body,DK Tires andDK Gun, all of which are used in Donkey Kong's "Banana Bot" machine during Battle Competitions.
Although the speed, acceleration, and handling statistics are usually randomized for the DK Tires and the DK Engine, they are always maxed out at the start of the match when used by CPU-controlled Donkey Kong in tournaments, though they lose significant momentum as time passes.
