Super Mario series[edit]
New Super Mario Bros.[edit]
Crowbers are only seen inWorld 8-1, where they swoop down to attackMario. As progress is made throughout the course, more will appear and chase after the player. Crowbers attack quickly, making it somewhat difficult for the player to defeat them.

Ghost House andWorld 8-5, attacking in the same way as they did inNew Super Mario Bros.

Mushroom-
Cannon,World 6-4 and in thefirst level of theImpossible Pack. They maintain their appearance fromNew Super Mario Bros. Wii. In the first of these levels, they always follow a preset movement pattern due to the automatic running, unlike their normal random movements.
Dr. Mario World[edit]
Crowbers make their debut in theDr. Mario series inDr. Mario World as obtainable assistants. Starting with this game, they revert back to their black and orange coloration. In stage mode, its effect is to increase the amount of capsules the player start with by one, where the chance of it happening is greater at higher levels. In versus mode, its effect is to reduce the speed the attack meter fills for both players by a percentage, meaning that the amount of points required to fill up the attack meter is increased by that percentage, rounded down to the nearest round number.
Paper Mario: The Origami King[edit]
Crowbers make theirPaper Mario series debut inPaper Mario: The Origami King, where origami Crowbers appear as enemies. A single one appears inScorching Sandpaper West, while three others are encountered onBonehead Island. During battle, Crowbers will line up behind one another and attack Mario with a Beak Bomber move in succession, with a brief delay between each individual's attack. Each hit deals 8-11 damage. They can also use Bombs Away to pick up another enemy and drop it on Mario, damaging him and defeating it in the process.
Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope[edit]
InMario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, a single Crowber appears inPalette Prime flying around a large scarecrow in the Pumpkin Patch area.
