Craw-Daddy,Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door

Craw-Daddy, also known asThe Dark Gatekeeper, is aDark Craw and fighter inGlitzville found inPaper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. His name is a play on both his species and "crawdad," a name sometimes used for thecrayfish. He is ranked fourth in theGlitz Pit, belowHamma, Bamma, and Flare but aboveThe Fuzz. Once Mario wins the championship, he is moved into fifth.

Since Craw-Daddy uses his spear to attack, Mario is not able tojump on him without getting hurt unless he hasSpike Shield. Instead, Mario must rely heavily onhammer attacks or usingitems. Although he has no defense, he makes up for it with a high amount of health and powerful attacks.

Like all Dark Craws, he has red eyes and dark-blue skin, as well as a brown vest and bandana and a red handkerchief, compared to the green and tan clothing that regularCraws wear.
