Count Fang is the boss ofWorld 2 in the gameYoshi's New Island, being fought inCount Fang's Castle. He originated as a normalFang, only to be altered byKamek's hammer during the events of the game. Count Fang grew to gigantic proportions and also appeared in the E3 2013 demo. He attacks by summoning fourSlave Basa to his aid which try to attackBlue Yoshi. However, they leave soon after, and Blue Yoshi then has to hit him with an egg to damage him. Count Fang turns red and starts rolling around on the ground, but soon returns to his normal form. The player has to hit him two more times to defeat him.

Naming[edit]
Count Fang's name is a portmanteau ofCount Dracula," the titular villain of the novelDracula, and "Fang," which the boss is based on.
